“Shut Up and Kiss Me” was both written and recorded by Mary Chapin Carpenter. It was released in 1994 and is still her only recording ever reach the #1 spot on the Hot Country charts. This song was produced and released by Shakedown Records quite a few years ago in a key suitable for the male vocal range. Unable to live with the +6 I had to shift the Shakedown track to put it into the female range, I finally decided it was time to produce the song in that second range. We opted to not spend the money on a new male range since there was already a great option available. Highly recommend SD 232 if you're looking for a track in the male range.

"Everybody Dance Now" was released in the early 90's under the title "Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now)." It's a great song that does indeed make you want to dance! Our extended patter release comes with three track options. The main track with the iconic vocal of "Everybody Dance Now" at the beginning and the end only, another track with more background vocals (BGV) emulating the original song, and a third with no background vocals at all.

"Deep Purple" is a new collaborative release from Rhythm Records and Chic Recordings, featuring producers Wade Driver and Shauna Kaaria on the vocal track for this new duet.
The music for “Deep Purple” was written by Peter DeRose and published as a piano composition in 1933. Sheet music sales made the song so popular that Mitchell Parish added lyrics in 1938.
One of the most popular releases of the song (and our inspiration) was recorded in 1963 by brother and sister duo, Nino Temple and April Stevens. This version won the grammy for "Best Rock and Roll Record."
When you purchase this package, you will receive the vocal track and eight additional tracks that will allow you to duet with either Wade or Shauna, or music only to sing alone with another caller. Each option comes with or without the melody line.

The first big hit for this song was by the Everly Brothers in 1960, reaching #7 on the Billboard Top 100.
The inspiration for our release is a version by Johnny Mathis and Alison Krauss, released in 2010.
